Cannon Ball!!!

We spent the afternoon at the McThor's house playing in their pool. Finley has gotten so brave and pretty much did this for 2 hours!

Banana Bread Baking

So we had some old bananas and Fin declared it was banana bread making time. We got busy baking together when suddenly we were joined by the littlest of the littles! Fin was a good sport and Claire really like watching what Fin was up to!

The bread ended up being really tasty but it was impossible to bake! It took at least 30 minutes longer and even then the inside could have baked a bit more but the top was getting very brown. Ah, well...all of us have been enjoying it quite a bit!

Haircuts!

Maya's been growing out her hair since the pixie cut. She's looking a bit moppish!

Water Park Adventure

Today we met the McThors at Davies water park. It was mid-90s and quite humid and it felt wonderful to be in the pool. It only gets about 4 feet deep so all the girls were able to enjoy it. There is a giant bucket that dumps 300 gallons of water on the pool every 4 minutes and tons of little lives and bubblers to keep everyone entertained. 

The girls were exhausted but had a great time.

A trip to the zoo!

We needed an outing today and since Finley had zoo camp this week...we decided to head to the zoo!

There were very few people there and so the girls just wandered from exhibit to exhibit. It was pretty great.

It is such a great place and we are members!!! We need to remember to go there more often! Plus there will be an otter exhibit that opens in the fall! Exciting!

Fancy Bathtub

So our house doesn't have a bathtub. This was a challenging transition for the big kids because they spent a lot of hours in the tub. 

Claire has been taking baths in the sink but she has gotten too big as of late. She really doesn't like the shower so we have been brainstorming alternative ideas. This is what we came up with. And it seems to work. The big kids are even a bit jealous.

Claire's newest game is putting everyone else's clothes on. Today it was Danny's boxers. Quite the style maven. 

Welcome home, Daddy

Danny went to Seattle for Paul an Rosanne's wedding. All of us girls were on our own for 4 days. Needless to say we were excited for his return.
