This morning Maya started first grade a little late because we needed to go get an xray of her foot. Over the weekend her shoelace tightened around her pedal and it twisted her foot. She seemed fine and then last night at the park it went out from under her and she wouldn't walk on it. So...

At school...finally. With her boot. The on-call doctor didn't think there was a fracture but sent the xray to a radiologist to read. We should hear back later this week.

Maya had a great day in Senorita Cobbs' class! Hooray!
