Road Trip to Decorah, Iowa

We too a trip to Iowa to help Bobby and Christy move into their new digs. It was...a long drive.

Hmmmm...broken car is throwing a wrench into our weekend mini-help-move-visit-family-get-away.

Stop #1--Perkins. Supper. Hopefully kids fall asleep with full belly in the fancy rental car. Could we be so lucky that the next stop is LaCrosse?

Stop #2--20 minutes later. Rest stop outside of Alexandria. Awesome. Kids screaming.

Stop #3--St. Charles for gas. And also because everyone, and I mean everyone, was screaming and crying for various reasons. Oh boy that was ugly. 12:40am. Full of gas and powering on for the last hour. It could be a doozy.

Stop #4--LaCrosse. Finley puked in the car 200 yards from the hotel. We are done for the night. Whew.

The next morning...all was better...
