The following conversation was heard in our house last night.
Maya: Mom, what are you doing?
Me: Making zucchini bread.
Maya (walking out of kitchen and throwing a wave over her shoulder): Favorite!
Parenthood is surreal at times.
Needless to say, Grandma Sandy's zucchini bread recipe produced award-winning results. We had it warm as a pre-bedtime snack and again this morning for breakfast.
